Team IVS finishes strong in the Vandenberg Scooter Race!

June 2010 - We've just returned from a fantastic week of high-speed underwater scooter racing on the USAFS Vandenberg in Key West. This was the inaugural running of the Wreck Racing League's Formula H2O scooter races around the hottest new wreck in the sea, the Vandenberg.

We unveiled our hot new Hollis Expedition Scooters for the event and finished first and second in our class, 4th & 6th overall in the race. We got in six dives on the wreck, including our time trials, and came away ready for our next one! Check out the race video at

The weekend also included a scooter demo at a local marina, and exhibiting for the event at the local wine & food festival, judging in the Burger Wars Cook-off, and a couple of great dinner meetings at some of Key West's finer establishments.

We've already got commitments to add three more races this season in Key Largo, Fort Lauderdale, and back to Key West! Read all about it in the blog!
