Take your diving to new levels with the skills, knowledge and training that you’ll experience with IVS’s Technical Diving programs. Going deeper, staying longer, expanding your dive missions, planned decompression diving, using multiple accelerated deco gasses including Nitrox Blends to 100%, incorporating Helium & Trimix blends in your dive planning, choosing gear configurations including Back-mounted Doubles, Sidemount, Rebreathers, Cave Exploration setups – learn how to go where few dare, safely, with confidence, and find the real explorer in you!
IVS's Entry-Level Technical Foundations training program is designed to introduce the recreational diver to the world of technical diving. The primary focus of this program is to develop the personal skills, and mindset, required for self-reliant and technical diving of any level. Introduction of technical gear set-ups, redundancy options, team concepts, dive planning, buoyancy control, and personal dive skills are reviewed and practiced.
This foundation course is a requirement for continuing technical diving education at IVS. The next step is Tec 100 - Introduction to Technical Diving. Another option is to continue your training in a Rebreather program. It also serves as a great knowledge and skills builder for anyone considering moving forward at some point into the professional realm.
